Tsumi naki hito sae mo
Namanurui ame ni utare nezuku kizu
Even people free from sin are wounded deeply
By the lukewarm rain beating down
Uso ga ima umare
Dokoka de uso dewa nakunatte
Now a lie is born
Somewhere the lie becomes something else
Itsu shika kotoba mo kono hi sae subete
Ayamachi ni umorete yuku
Aoku kegarenai kioku dakishime
Someday all the words, even this day and everything else
Will be buried in the mistake
I hold close to me the blue and unsoiled memory
Gekijyou no namida ni kibou sae nijinde yuki
Ima wo ikite yuku tsuyosa sae
Gekijyou ni kurui nageki
Inori wo yuuhi ni kakage
Through violent, angry tears my hope blurs away
Even the strength to keep on living
Crazy with angry, chaotic grief
I offer a prayer to the setting sun
Burning from the inside
Crying with pain
Burning from the inside
Crying with pain
Anata ni wa sukuenai
Burning from the inside
Crying with pain
You can't save me
Gekijyou no namida ni ushinatta yasashisa to wa
Umare koko ni ataerareta ai
Ushinatta kokoro no wake
Jibun no yowasa daro?
The kindness called birth, the love that had been given here
Is lost through angry, violent tears (1)
The reason for my lost heart
Is my own weakness, isn't it?
It is then the proof of sadness,
Caused by absolute justice

In the lukewarm rain which does not stop...

Translator's Notes:
(1) I don't think my translation of the first two lines of this verse is entirely correct; this is the general gist but I can't really work out exactly what he's trying to say here. Let me know if you have any clues...
